Yang Lu, Ph.D.

As the Head of Measurement Engineering at Quiver Bioscience, Dr. Yang Lu leads a team of scientists and engineers in the development of all-optical electrophysiology platforms for high-throughput and high-information-content screening, while also managing production-level daily operations within Quiver's drug discovery programs. With more than a decade of research experience across both academia and the biotech industry, his expertise has been pivotal in advancing optical technologies for biomedical applications. His work includes the identification of novel biomarkers for diabetic retinopathy and the development of next-generation, high-resolution adaptive optics scanning laser ophthalmoscopy. Dr. Lu earned his B.S. in Physics/Optics from Jilin University and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University, furthering his expertise with post-doctoral training at Harvard Medical School.
