Owen McManus, Ph.D.

Owen McManus provides guidance for drug discovery and platform development efforts at Quiver Bioscience as Chief Technology Officer. He has worked for over thirty years in drug discovery in a number of therapeutic areas leading to advancement of several clinical candidates with a focus on ion channel targets. He has worked at Merck Research Labs, Johns Hopkins University and Essen Bioscience before joining Quiver Bioscience in 2015. Owen received a PhD in Physiology from the University of Utah and did postdoctoral studies in ion channel biophysics at the University of Miami.
